Some Pretty Picks

Some Pretty Picks [no. 69]

February 9, 2018

Happy Friday! Sorry I was off my posting game this week. We got back from NYC and it took longer than I expected to get caught up with work and emails so thus no mid-week post. But we’re here and back and ready for Friday and Some Pretty Picks. *Also, a Saturday post is coming your way. Enjoy!

ONE | Bouqs – Fresh Cut Flowers to Your Door

You all know that I will never work with a brand that I don’t love and believe in so when I stop to tell you about a product (even if it is #sponsored) it’s because I truly do love it! Bouqs is a cut-to-order online flower shop that works with flower farmers around your area to send out beautiful bouquets. I got two bunches of flowers from them and have a 20% discount code to share with you all! Just use emilyjlewandowski20 at checkout for 20%- just in time for Valentines Day 😉

TWO | Favorite Hair Mask

This past weekend of being in NYC my hair took a beating like never before. With the wind and the cold in full force, I would come back to the hotel and have to spend 30 minutes trying to brush the tangles out of my hair. So once back in GVL I pulled out my heavy-duty hair repair products and remembered how much I love the Giovanni hair care line. Silky and smooth locks once again!

THREE | The Sneaker Trend is Here to Stay

Louis Vuitton is now launching a line of sneakers/streetwear and after hanging out in Soho and Tribeca I’m really not surprised. Streetstyle is HUGE and although it’s not something I can pull off super well it does have its charms. What do you think? Would you buy a $1,000+ pair of dad shoes?

FOUR | Latest Brand Obsession

Guys, how have I never heard about Brandy Melville before? What other awesome brands am I missing out on? We popped into their Soho store on a whim and I bought this awesome NYC sweatshirt that I’m now living in. I also have my eye on this shirt and this dress for spring.

FIVE | An “Elegant Parisian Experience”

If someone wants to sponsor me to go to this hotel and live for a month I’d be fine with that . . .
