Hello from NYC!
Lee and I fly out this evening and have had the best time this trip despite the cold temps. I’m going to be sharing this trip a little bit out of order, but I’ll do my best to keep up with the narrative of the four days. Yesterday, Sunday, we decided to head up to Chelsea and check out a few highlights we just couldn’t miss including the High Line and the Chelsea Market.
We’ve been starting our mornings early in the city that never sleeps. We always find it best to get up and get moving before 8 am so we can get some good photos without loads of people around and on Sunday morning at 7:45 the city – including the subway – was as dead as I’ve ever seen it. Anticipating warmer temperatures before the rain hit, I was excited to wear a few less layers (5 instead of 7) and slip into the most comfortable sweater dress I’ve ever worn from a darling online boutique Tobi. Tights, a coat, scarf, and mittens were still a necessity but I was snug and warm all day long.
After heading into the market for some breakfast, coffee, and window shopping we walked almost the entire length of the High Line and then wandered the streets of Chelsea until meeting some friends for a late lunch near Grand Central Station.
With the rain starting to pick up and the temperature rapidly dropping, we headed back to SoHo to cozy up in the hotel and plan for another exciting day.
Thank you to Tobi for partnering on this post.
